Conference Counselor

As a leader and role model to conference attendees between the ages of 13 and 17, your primary responsibility is overall supervision. You are to ensure attendees’ well-being and to make their conference experience as safe, fun and rewarding as possible. As a Conference Counselor, you will be with attendees 24 hours a day as you will be the primary point of contact between Conference Planners and attendees assigned to you. In preparation for this role, a mandatory Conference Counselor webinar will be scheduled for interested individuals

  • Escort members of your cohort to their assigned rooms once they have completed registration

  • Review with members of your cohort conference rules, regulations, and expectations

  • Daily review of conference schedule with members of your cohort

  • Daily escort of your cohort to all conference-related activities which include workshops and nightly services; extracurricular/social activities as well as dining room area during meals

  • Nightly inspections ensuring that members of your cohort are in their rooms by conference curfew

  • Overall knowledge of where members of your cohort are at all times

Team Lead

 As an organizer for Conference 20 at your local church(es) your primary responsibility is mobilization. You are to reiterate the conference registration procedure to interested members of your local church/organization and ensure that interested individuals submit the necessary information to successfully complete the registration process prior to the conference. You will be a primary point of contact between Conference Planners and local churches/organizations. In preparation for this role, a mandatory Conference Team Lead webinar will be scheduled for interested individuals.

  • Daily set up, break down and tidying of classroom space

  • Supervision of conference attendees ages twelve and under

  • Facilitation of conference curriculum and supplementary projects/ activities

  • Facilitation of at least one special selection to be presented during conference service

Already Won Children's Conference Director

The Conference Director is responsible for creating an inviting, stimulating, and safe conference environment for children twelve and under. In this role you will contribute to a team-centered working environment that is friendly, respectful, open and honest. You will work closely with Conference Planners to share ideas and to develop joint projects and activities.

  • Daily set up, break down and tidying of classroom space

  • Supervision of conference attendees ages twelve and under

  • Facilitation of conference curriculum and supplementary projects/ activities

  • Facilitation of at least one special selection to be presented during conference service

Already Won Children's Conference Coordinator

Provide assistance to the Conference Director to ensure an inviting, stimulating, and safe conference environment for children twelve and under is maintained. In this role, you will contribute to a team-centered working environment that is friendly, and respectful.

Duties

  • Assist in the daily set up, break down and tidying of classroom space

  • Assist in overseeing conference attendees ages twelve and under 

  • Provide support in teaching the conference curriculum and execution of supplementary projects/ activities

Conference Photographer

As a volunteer for Conference 2024, you will be charged with recording conference activities through the art of photography. You will come prepared with your own camera and supplemental equipment.

Duties

  • Awareness of conference workshop, service and activities schedule and their locations

  • Collaboration with other members of photography team to create a full conference coverage plan

  • Transition from one workshop, service and activity to another, taking pictures that capture important moments

  • Secure storage of images for sharing with conference multimedia team daily
